My hearing was at 2pm, I got to the court house at about 12pm. At 205pm, a sheriff comes to me and says a call came in this morning from Ga saying I was a wanted felon and now I was being detained. I had my newborn with me (source of food) and my daughter was in childrens room. A call was made down to Ga and turnt out it was not true. Can’t he be charged for false phone call? Then I am told this man gets to be alone with her that day from 5p-8p and all holidays, and every other weekend. But the order says March , 2011. Her spring break begins the 14th and he is suppose to have 5 continuous nights with her, to be determined by counsel within 7 days. I had no say. My daughter had a panick attack, which triggered her asthma attack EMS was called in. My lawyer kept asking me questions that I had gave supporting documents about. She was not prepared at all. Does Chicago even have jurisdiction? My daughter is afraid of him. So I do not want to follow this order, it has many loop holes. I already notified the Lamar County Police. Child Protection came to her school Friday. This guy does not know my family, but had photos of my sister, told my child my mother told him I put bruises on her, and told her I was bad and take drugs. He has no knowledge that my mother has never seen my daughter in person. So my daughter told me to stop crying because she know he is lying to her.

My husband is a wonderful father & stepfather, but his ex-wife is deliberately alienating him from his children for no just cause. We can’t afford an attorney but need one to help enforce visitation (he is lucky to have 1 hour a month with them even though they live a mile away because she makes it impossible & she allows her kids to call the shots & they would rather hang out with their friends than spend time with their dad). She is now trying to remove all contact & she disrespects him in front of their children & models for them that he is not worthy of being respected, even though he’s a great guy, always pays his child support & would do anything for his kids. He could file court papers without an attorney, but his ex-wife is clearly deliberately trying to keep him from his kids because she is bitter over the divorce that she initiated & in order to adequately enforce his rights as a father, we need an attorney. Does anyone know of a pro bono attorney or an attorney who will work with people on a sliding fee scale according to their income? We’ve tried various legal resources in San Diego & they all cost way more than we can afford.
